And more. . ..
Our Ohana is very well equipped and well prepared for coastal cruising. Waeco fridge plus the water tank with pressurized water will allow you to enjoy long trips without any interruptions and unnecessary stops for water and food. Cold nights are no longer the issue with on-board heating system by Wallas. Now one can go boating anytime during the year and it's not limited to the warmer months of the year. Our best investment was the full enclosure -- it's truly the best thing money can buy for 26M: sunshine or rain, being on the water is fun!
Latest addition included new deep cycle batteries, Xantrex Battery monitoring system, reads like a gas gauge to let you know how much battery power you have left.
And best of all additions is a new generation Evolution Autopilot by Raymarine, EV200 that is integrated with Garmin Chart plotter - the latest and greatest. Just plot your course on GPS unit or a PC then let the Autopilot take you to your destination. Great for long and boring Georgia Straight crossings. Or let the Autopilot hold the course while you raise or lower the main sail or jib -- a must with solo sailing.
Ohana is clean and well maintained. She has been a non-smoking vessel.
As you can see we have put quite a bit of money and time into it. We invite you to ask questions -- please do not hesitate to contact us directly by email. The boat is currently moored at Heather Civil Marina or she can be trailered and stored on your own property.
